We found Firkin Point, Loch Lomond a year or so ago when we were looking for somewhere to stop and stretch our legs while traveling north.  Sitting on the west bank of Loch Lomond about halfway between Inverbeg and Tarbet on the A82 this is an ideal place to take a break from driving and have a breather.  (Map) Clearly …
